I ran across this tea while visiting in Seattle and its my new favorite must have tea. This tea is better than its replacement and cheaper too. Last year I had to cut caffeine and sugar out of my diet and really struggled finding a replacement for coffee w/cream and sugar. I found Safari Sunset and was happy until they reformulated it. I love the clovey taste. I don't miss coffee at all.
I have loved Market Spice's original cinnamon-orange tea for many years. I recently got hooked on rooibos and when I saw this in the Market Spice Pike Place shop I decided to give it a try. It is different from the original cinnamon-orange tea, not as strong or sweet in flavour, but equally very good. I like to leave the teabag in to steep while I'm drinking the tea.
The flavor is very robust, as I said, almost like the cinnamon gum or cinnamon candies. This is a nice dark red tea. Not like most herbal teas which normally do not get very dark. No need for milk, just use honey. It is delicious, like having a dessert.
MarketSpice has lots of great tea variations. The traditional MarketSpice blend is fabulous - this cinnamon-orange rooibos tea is my favorite - over the black or green teas.
(Thank you to the writer who accurately described the charming little shop in Pike Place Market). MarketSpice products are high quality and delicious.
I live in Michigan and have been ordering MarketSpice tea and honey for almost ten years, since I first discovered them when I traveled to Seattle in 2000. It's makes a wonderfully unique gift for friends and family who enjoy teas as well.
For tea lovers, once you try MarketSpice tea, you will keep coming back. This tea has a distinctive orange spice flavor that is irresistible.
Try the decaf tea too. I'd recommend trying other MarketSpice products too, especially the orange-cinnamon honey.
I highly reccommend the Red Bush and Orange Spice tea. I first had this company's tea in Seattle. It is a little shop at the famous open air market, Pike's Place. It is wonderful beyond description. The flavor is so distinct, one would know they are having tea from this store.
